Have 5 confirmed for the workshop on Saturday. Niesy had reported that she had two who wanted to come; am waiting to see about that. Have two renewals for evaluations and then the new folk who choose to evaluate. Know will have at least three from that group.

Looking for folks to confirm that they will be helping with the Evaluations and the workshop.

Thank you Sara and Niesy for doing much of the presentation of the workshop. You are both great presentors and shared many important insights with our three participants.

Sorry that two of our folk were unable to attend due to personal illness and one because her horse colicked and had to be taken to the Vet school in LA. We hope everyone is on the road to recovery.

Have a wonderful evaluation team. Perry and I alternated evaluations and the team made sure we were on track with our decisions-----EXACTLY what an evaluation team should do.

Rachael Harper and Tank renewed. My how Tank has grown and settled into his role. He was great and of course he had a wonderful handler helping him. Elizabeth Harrision and her West Highland Terrier, Diamond came to renew and what a surprise. I had spoken with her when she called to schedule an appointment and shared some of our concerns regarding her failure to roleplay or interact with patients during shadow visits. It must have done the trick as she was excellent and Diamond (a retired show dog Wink ) knew just how to please everyone.

Becca Moss and Sammy, Golden Retriever, from Liberty evaluated next. Sammy's tail never stopped wagging and when Perry did the restraining hug, Sammy's face was so soft and saying, "oh this is so nice". Energy, yes, expected of a young Golden, in control and this will be a welcome team to our area. Hope all will let them know how excited we are to have them.

THen we had a turn for the worse as Sue Liles and Oliver attempted their evaluation. Oliver is a resuced Springer Spaniel and still has lots of work ahead of him if he is ever to be a therapy dog.

And lastly a new, old team decided to become officially a team and official members of Paws-----Jimmy Bevilacqua and Spots (that's Niesy's husband and Dusty's dog). Very Happy Welcome Jimmy and Spots.
