Christmas Party

Had a great time at the Christmas party at JoAnn's last night.It was so nice visiting with everybody.The food was great and I love the game we played!Everyone have a safe and Merry Christmas See y'all at the meeting in Jan!

Thanks to everyone who came and for those who missed it YOU were missed. We did have a good time. Hope my little "gifts" find their way to your trees or to your library shelf. I haven't heard from Rhonda, but she was going to deliver the dog gifts to the Beaumont SPCA shelter this morning after her rounds at the emergency clinic. Thanks for the doggie food. And thanks for all the wonderful food we had to eat.

Several have asked about the game you played. It is called Sequence and is put out by JAX, Ltd Toys and Games. The boxed game I have found at Toys R Us in previous years, then the large mat I ordered separately. I still have the original mailing tube with the address for the company so if you need that to trace it down let me know. Glad everyone enjoyed it. I wasn't going to bring it out, but so delighted that it was asked for and that we had two boards so everyone could play.

Please keep your thinking caps on, think of what you'd like to see the group do in the coming year and write it down so you can discuss this at our meeting in January.

Yes, we sure did have fun at JoAnn's Christmas Party. It was great getting to know the 2 new members. Maybe Sara will share her soup and salad recipes! My favorites but it was ALL good! Hope everybody has a safe and happy Christmas and New Year's!!!

Who made the snacks---cereal covered with chocolate and powdered sugar? I want that recipe.

Cathy - I will try to get the soup and salad recipes posted on here before I leave town this weekend. If not, I will make copies and bring them to the meeting in January. they are both really easy recipes.

I did deliver the food to the Humane society....they really appreciated it!

The party was so much fun! I loved the game Sequence so much I got one for our family to play. (actually Sarah and I are going to meet secretly every week and practice so we won't lose every game so fast!)lol
