A very good friend of mine is terminally ill, he is one of the
foundation breeders of todays white shetland ponies! He has asked me to
take the 23 head he has left and find homes for them.(I'm giving him
$100 each for them) I'm going up to his ranch the first week of March to
get them! I need help finding homes!
After adding fuel and expenses to go get them and bring them back to
Texas(they are in MO)having coggins drawn and health certificates issued
for each pony, I am asking $150 per pony to cover my expenses, all of
the ponies are registered with ASPC. Normally these ponies would easily
sell for $800 to $1000 each These are all very nice ponies that would do
well in the showring or your backyard!
If you know of anyone who would be able to give a loving home to these
ponies, please pass this on to them. He is trying to save them from
being put into his estate and sold off at auction! This man has spent
his whole life perfecting this line of pony and it is breaking his heart
to have to part with them, but he knows this is what is best for them
under the circumstances!
