TVE Parade and Liberty Health Care center

Just need to know who is interested in riding on the Liberty Health Care float for the TVE parade, October 14th. The parade starts at 10 so I am sure we need to be at the start by 9:30. Will find out more details this Tuesday.

maggie is one of the puppies we had during hurricane ike. i am showing her in bred by. she belongs to melissa. where do we meet the day of the parade.??

went to Liberty Health Care Center today to visit and to talk with the activity director. Visited, but did not get to meet with Theresa as they were in meetings all day. Asked some of the residents if they were going to be in the parade but they didn't even know when the parade was.

Will checik tomorrow morning. May have to see if I can round up a 4 wheeler or we will jsut ride in my pickup and put the banner on the side. Some could walk and hand out stuff, others ride, then change out.

I have France and Janice as Paws Members who will be with me for the TVE parade.

We will gather at the Liberty Health Care Center at 8:40 sharp to go to the parade formation area by 9:00. The parade does not start until 10:00 (I think) but the parade has to form up and be ready to move out which does take time.

WEAR your Paws shirt and if your dog has a vest or a Paws kerchief be sure they are "dressed" Also, bring any bookmarks to hand out.

The parade starts at 10:00 but if you want to be a part of the Liberty health Care group, then you need to be at the Health Care Center at 8:40 Wednesday morning so we can go to the line up site. The parade wil be "put together" at 9:00 and I do not know exactly where the "put together" site is.

Dogs should wear their vests or their scarfs and people wear their Paws shirts. Bring any bookmarks or handouts you want to share along the route. I have some left over bookmarks from the Responsible Dog Owners Day, some Paws pamphlets. So we can hand out what we have and go from there.
