Updated Health Reports
Ivan is still struggling. He had more kidney stone "blasting" last Monday and his body is definitely starting to protest. Hopefully, all the kidney stones from that kidney (doctor is now doing one kidney at a time) were dissolved and/or will be passed. He still has an additional surgery to anticipate. The only bright side to any of this is that Ivan reports he has lost over 20 pounds in less than 2 months - hard way to do that.
Donice was finally driven to return to work - at least one day last week - "Little House on the Prairie" reruns inspired the move. She says she is definitely improving but slowly. There is still a lot of what the doctor refers to as "discomfort."
Marj is also on the mend although she is still restricted from bending over. She is also bored, bored, bored. Ed reports that he is holding his own and certainly appreciates all the jobs that Marj does at home even more than he did before.
We had a scare with Bailey, Chandler's companion dog. The shelter reported that she was heart-worm negative - which was not correct but Dr. Liz tested and reported that while Bailey does have heart-worms, it is a light case and can be treated with monthly medication. She and Chandler are becoming fast friends and Melilnda reports that Chandler relies on Bailey and Bailey seems to understand Chandler's needs. It is a great match.
