We haven't met Kay's husband yet, but most have met Kay and Wishbone.
Kay e-mailed me today that her husband had to be taken to St. Luke's with blood clots in his lungs and legs. She did not elaborate except to say it was totally unexpected. And they don't know when he will be released.

Here is Kay's latest e-mail regarding her husband's condition.
"Thanks. Larry was released over weekend. We're back for f/up at med ctr this a.m. Prognosis good. He'll need to be on blood thinners 6 months and do f/ups, but he's lucky! Thanks for thoughts and prayers! We felt them. "
