Wrangler's surgery Empty Wrangler's surgery

Just wanted to let everyone know that Wrangler had surgery today at Dr. Wilcox. He had a partial tear in his cruciate ligament in his right knee, but the inside of the joint was normal! He is going to stay with my friend Dr. Hunter and her wonderful staff at Main Street Veterinary Clinic in Lumberton through Sunday since I will be leaving tomorrow for Huntsville and then on Friday go from there to Waco for the Delta Evaluator's Practicum.
He will be confined and leash walked for 6 weeks and then I will take x-rays...and if all is well then work him up to his normal routine!

Glad Wrangler is doing well. You be careful. Thanks for representing us and being willing to become a Team Evaluator. You and Perry will be a great addition to our program and promote Paws through out Southeast Texas.

Wrangler's surgery Empty Wrangler update

Post  Rhonda Glanzer Sun Mar 13, 2011 8:41 am

I took Wrangler in for a recheck on Friday...1 month post-op. x-rays look good....will retake them again in 1 month. Since he's been confined and milking how much is leg bothers him by holding it up, he has lost a lot of muscle in that leg....once the weather warms up he's going to have to borrow the neighbors pool and once his leg is totally healed I'll have to take him walking.

Thanks for everyone for asking and praying!
