Harbor Hospice Volunteering

Hello Everyone:
I wanted to let you all know that Harbor Hospice (on Major Drive in Beaumont) is interested in having pet therapy provided to their patients. If anyone is interested in volunteering at Harbor Hospice, you are required to attend a volunteer orientation. The volunteer trainings are always held the last Friday of each month from 10am - 2pm. If you are interested in attending an orientation session, you need to contact Ina Messina - Volunteer Coordinator at imessina@harborhospice.com or call 409-840-5640 or 409-291-2101. At the training, they go over policies, you tour the facility, watch videos, as well as complete the paperwork for volunteering and lunch is provided. Once you have gone to the training, you can volunteer at any time, except when food is being served.
