This one is for me

This prayer request is for me. I need your therapy now. James seems to be better than he was prior to the infection in December and the subsequent bronchial spasms which put him in the hospital. But he is weak and any activity makes him short of breath and wears him out. He moves about (when he moves) the house in a motorized wheelchair(scooter). Yesterday was the first day he got out of the house for a few moments, except when we went to the doctor.

My adjustment is to the fact that he is now very concerned about being alone for any period of time. Where it was possible for me to go to Beaumont and hold the workshop, or go to Houston for a dog show most of the day, now James is panicked about being alone for that length of time. So I am having to adjust, find "sitters", and pray that he will gain confidence.

In this time, I will be asking each of you to take on more responsibilities so we as Paws keep going and serving.

Here is a good update:

1. Lyvone's sister did not have a heart attack, rather bone spurs on the spinal column mimicked symptoms. WIll have to have that surgery.
2. Lyvone's daughter's racing heart is being controlled effectively with medications, no pacemaker needed.
3. James has begun to move about with a walker. We have a man working on the fences and of course he "needs supervision" from James which means James at least has something to think about other than himself and to move from room to room "observing". He is back to playing poker on the computer half the day. So that is good. (play money only!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
