Other important forum usage tips

This is for new and experienced users alike.
Forums are great for starting topics and continuing a "thread" of responses, like an online conversation.
When someone posts a new topic and you want to respond, just click on reply. It's not necessary to include a subject. I can't get rid of the subject line on replies, so it's there but unnecessary.
It's best if you don't reply by starting a new topic. It makes it very difficult to follow the "thread" of the conversation when it jumps around through the various sections of the forum. Just open the post, hit reply, type in your message, and hit send. The only time you really need to include a subject line is when you start a completely new topic.
