Fox 4 Dog Days of Summer Adoptathon

Had a great time visiting with everyone at the Dog Days of Summer. Niesy, Jimmy (sp), Denice, and I got there about 9:45 and they set up the tent, tables, chairs, displays, and necessary doggie wetting pools. We had a great location--right at the front where everyone passed by our tent. So we talked with a lot of people and the dogs got lots and lots of petting. Rachel, Sara, and Jolyn joined us.

Hoping some of the registrations we gave out will come back for the 17th. Did talk with the supervisor of the Beaumont Animal Control/Rescue and he is interested in working with Niesy and getting some Safety Around Dogs Programs going in the area.

Next is the Responsible Dog Owners Day at Pet Smart. All those not involved in the Liberty READ hopefully will be able to attend. We will be doing the Safety Around Dogs there.

Thanks to all who came and made it through the morning till about 1:00. Heat took us to our cars. But the fellowship was great.
