Patient at Baptist

Hi Everyone! Yesterday I received a phone call from Vickie Holcomb. She said that a patient in the hospital was requesting a therapy dog visit and wanted to know if Mae could come. We went this morning to visit the gentleman on 3 south and he was so happy to see Mae. He is an elderly gentleman and has a little dog of his own that he is missing terribly. He showed me a picture and told me how much he wished he could have his dog there. His daughter said that she had seen him stroking the cover on the bed and asked him what he was doing. He replied, petting my dog. (awwww) Anyway, he is being transferred to Rehab Monday. He really needs a small dog that can get up on his bed so that he can really pet it. Mae is obviously too big to be in his lap. If you can go, it would mean so much to this sweet man. I have his name, so if you can go, email me or call me and I can tell you so you will be able to find him. Thanks!!
