To Go or Not to Go
It is Tuesday, Holly Day at the nursing home, but I really had some other things to doa and just didn't think I would make it. But something nudged at me, so I showered, brushed Holly, and we headed into Liberty.
Nothing special or out of the ordinary happened. Saw all our regulars and some new folk. Holly got kisses from one new resident. Visited long on the bed of our Sheltie lady (getting thinner and frailer all the time) and with her roommate (memory beginning to fade). Visited with the PT who was working with a new minimal response client. Holly got her massage from Linda then turned to her work with the client; got a smile and a rub as I held her up, even a very quiet, "that's a pretty dog". Linda remarked how awsome it is to watch the dogs. "Holly's face changes completely from when I am giving her the massage, to when she say, "I'm at work now! this one needs my attention."
A good day!!! I'm glad I went.
