Jo Ann, you have no idea what a treat jam is for Joe. He is a jam freak, if there is such a thing. One time we had a drawing for all kinds of exciting prizes, like trips to Hawaii. Joe won a gift package of jam and was thrilled, you would have thought he won the lottery. Thank you so much.

He couldn't remember what the other jar was, some kind of relish or salsa?

Does Joe eat Fig preserves? If so, tell him to come over as I need to unload some of the aging preserves. By the way, they are great in a cake. Glad he likes the jam. I have never been one for clear jellies, want the pulp for the real taste of the fruit.

The other is my sweet tomato relish. We love it on pinto beans, fried okra, and stuff like that. Don Carpenter is a conosuer (sp?) of my relish and jams. He and Joe will have to get together at the HPHP Chrustmas party this Saturday.
