Dayton Woman's Club Meeting

I spoke today to the Dayton Woman's Club meeting at a home in Dayton Oaks just off 321 North of Dayton. Janice and Ann Furlough and her Yorkie, Jackson, accompanied me. Nice group of ladies. They were real interested in the R.E.A.D. program and I will not be surprised if we receive a donation toward the establishment of another R.E.A.D. team.

I did let them know that we had tried several times to "get into" the Dayton schools with the Safety Around Dogs program and the R.E.A.D. but had never been responded to. The President of the group is a retired teacher and she may be the means to the entry into the system. She at least says she is going to see what she can do. We keep trying.
